WHO AM I?
I live in Shinfield with my wonderful family, my amazing Wife Pamela who is currently pregnant with our second child who is a girl! Galia is our 5 year old daughter who is incredible.
WHY AM I STANDING?
I am standing as an independent candidate for the Wokingham Borough Council Election in Shinfield because I care deeply about our community and believe that local decisions should be made by people who truly know and love the area. Shinfield is not just where I live — it is my home. It is where families grow, friendships are formed, and our shared future is shaped.
Over the years, Shinfield has evolved, with new developments, growing infrastructure, and an expanding population. While change can bring opportunity, it must be managed carefully, thoughtfully, and with the needs of residents at its heart. I am standing to ensure that growth works for our community — not the other way around.
As an independent candidate, I am not aligned to any political party. This means my only priority is Shinfield and its residents. I will listen first, act with integrity, and make decisions based on what is best for our village. I believe in transparency, accountability, and open communication. Parish councillors should be approachable, visible, and responsive — and that is exactly what I intend to be.
My values are simple: community first, fairness in decision-making, respect for different viewpoints, and a commitment to protecting the character and green spaces that make Shinfield special. I want to help ensure that local services keep pace with development, that our roads and infrastructure are properly considered, and that residents’ voices are genuinely heard in planning decisions.
Most importantly, I believe in bringing people together. A strong parish council should unite the community, encourage participation, and support local groups, businesses, and volunteers who give so much to Shinfield.
I am standing because I care. I care about maintaining the village feel that makes Shinfield unique, about supporting families and older residents alike, and about creating a positive future for the next generation.
